Welcome to the Camp Shocco for the Deaf Website. We certainly hope that you will enjoy surfing this website to learn a little bit about our camp and you will find a wealth of information about our activities, it's history, ministries and team leaders. This camp gives every Deaf teenagers and Deaf children's an opportunity to have an unforgettable 1 week of fun, games, and spiritual growth.  Not only that, they learn the essence of teamwork, while also developing their own unique abilities and talents that can often be overlooked.  There is no language barriers, therefore, they are never excluded.  They are all involved!

 

 This year's theme is "Hero" for the children and the youth. We will be studying about who are the heros in the Bible. We are going to have a lot of fun.  We will learn the importance of having a positive attitude and giving positive praise. Self-esteem will increase, and social abilities will be enhanced.  It's an event that no kid will experience without positive change.  We will also learn that God desires a personal relationship with us, and how to develop that relationship.  Our understanding of God will grow through group Bible study, personal "quite time", and nightly devotions. One thing is for sure, we will develop more confidence that God has a purpose in our life.

 
        Camp Shocco has an excellent wonderful Camp Committee that involved planning and giving a support of making this a successful camp for the kids as well for the deaf leaders who all involved the camp.  One thing we can guarantee, Deaf teenagers and Deaf children's no matter where they are from, will have an absolute BLAST at Camp Shocco!  Don't miss this opportunity.  Every year will make an impact like never before.  If you're tired of staying home during the summer, why not come and join the fun at Camp Shocco for the Deaf!!
